Brown Thomas – By Malene Birger event
Another great event we did over the summer was a Brown Thomas styling event with the lovely Kathy O Connor presenting (Amanda and I assisting) the AW11 collection.
We did 5 Sessions and got to experience the store on a busy Saturday even though the rain was coming down in buckets. it was a great experience and we got great collection feedback from staff and consumers! Joseph had a similar event on at the same day and it gave the store a great buzz and some excited champagne tipsy customers a chance to forget about the rain and the doom and gloom still dominating the Irish media.
I was of course taking the opportunity to hunt for my wedding shoes… how difficult can it be to find a pair of non crème satin shoes without peep-toe for a winter wedding? Obviously very difficult as I have now looked at all online websites, the shops in Paris, London, Copenhagen and now Dublin! Am I being difficult to please? Yes!!
I Always love my trips to Ireland – especially Dublin as we always go to the Dylan hotel, my early morning runs at St. Stephens green, the lovely SABA Thai restaurant and drinks in the bar at the Shelbourne Hotel.
This was also Dublin trip number 14 : )
