Michael Azoulay created American Vintage in France in 2005 with the initial idea to make the female t-shirt an essential part of the wardrobe. Where American Vintage continues to be most famous for the basic tops and t-shirts perfect for the layering look, the collections constantly evolves and each season grows to contain more beautiful silk pieces, unique prints and knitwear in gorgeous colours and qualities. By now the collection has about 200 pieces in 40 different colours for women and 40 styles in 30 colours for men.
